Events and Fundraisers
Here are some fundraising events I Co-Chaired over the past couple of years. Last year I was on the committee for "Feast Among the Grapes" and we honored Pop artist Romero Britto. This fundraiser benefits Diabetes Research, we hope to find a cure someday. This year 2005, I am Sub-Chairing this event and am the Auction Chair. It was held at the Radisson Miami on June 4th at 8:00 p.m. Thank you all for coming and for joining me and my friends to help find a cure for Diabetes. Preliminary reports indicate that we raised over $175,000!! It was great to see you all there! The party was outstanding!! Gary Hall, Jr. was amazing and his wife Elizabeth was lovely. This Olympic Gold medal winner, is the fastest swimmer in the world. Thank you Gary, it was a true pleasure meeting you. Hope to see you all again next year. Last changed on Feb 25, 2011. My High School Prom in San Jose Costa Rica
Here are some high school Prom pictures, some of them have discolored after 20 years, I can't believe I found these! Amazing! I did my last 3 years of high school in San Jose. The strange thing about it, culturally speaking, is that in Latin America it is custom to go to the Prom with your WHOLE FAMILY! And it is NOT customary to have a prom date like in the States... Virtual Scrap Book
Fun stuff!! Here you'll find autographs, old pictures, etc. I've been updating this one constantly, so keep checking for new items...that's Mark Cuban who I met today on New Years Eve 2005 at Jerry's Famous Deli!! I also met at Jerry's the comedian Jackie Mason! He was super nice. It's amazing how much space you save if your scrap book is virtual.
